The highly-regarded Cabineo connector is continuing to expand its product line with the introduction of the 8 M6 connector. This all-new connector offers all the benefits of the original Cabineo e.g. surface machining, flat-pack delivery and time-effective assembly. But additionally, the Cabineo 8 M6 opens up even more opportunities for application.

Using the Cabineo 8 M6, it is now possible to work with materials such as aluminium, steel or HPL when making connections. Lamello now offer an insert to provide a joint with even higher strength values, for applications where the thread isn’t able to be directly cut into the substrate. The insert is perfect for jobs that incorporate detachable corners and the dividing of heavy-duty panel joints. Other common areas of use for the Cabineo 8 M6 include high-quality removable furniture, trade fair construction and modular parts.

The insert’s strength values can be even further improved by being hammered into the dividing panels using a through hole, into which the Cabineo is then able to engage from both sides. This allows for a significantly higher clamping force, to ensure a secure connection. The ease of assembly is another benefit of the 8 M6 connector, whether it be a corner connection or a dividing panel joint, the connector is used in conjunction with the corresponding insert nut for all applications (Cabineo insert nut M6x12.3 for 16 mm material thickness and Cabineo insert nut M6x15.3 for 19 mm material thickness).
