Spiral Sash Balances

Our spiral sash balances and kits complement our other wide range of sash window hardware items.

Spiral sash balances are spring loaded to counter-balance to hold in place the sash in a boxed sash window, and replace the need for sash weights, chord and pulleys.

Due to their size they also require less space within the sash frame compared to traditional weights.

These balances can be supplied to allow you to adjust tension for specific sash window weights. We also supply pre-tensioned varieties for sash weights up to 110lb.

Spiral sash balances are bespoke for each window based on the dimensions and weight of each sash.

Our range of 'D' type non-tensioned balances offer a light duty, economical and general purpose spiral sash balance solution for both domestic and commercial applications.

All 'D' type balances are easily adjustable within their weight range to suit glazed sash windows.

Suitable for timber and aluminium windows up to 18kg (40lb)
Stainless steel spiral roads with white PVCu outer tube (available in grey, brown, black, cream and caramel)

F & K-Type Spiral Sash Balances

Our range of 'F' and 'K' type balances offer a general purpose spiral sash balance solution for both domestic and commercial applications.

They are supplied pre-tensioned for ease of fabrication and dual tension springs provide assisted lift, even with heavier installations.

'F' balances suitable for sashes up to 27kg (60lb) and 'K' balances up to 50kg (110lb)
